Performance evaluation with SWN A technical contribution

We present a solution to bind a highly specialized, fine tuned software tool for performance evaluation of complex systems (GreatSPN) with a general purpose interactive numerical environment (Scilab). We show how users can benefit from the respective powers of these tools. Our package allows computation of various performance indices not directly available in GreatSPN. RÉSUMÉ. Nous présentons une solution pour coupler un outil logiciel hautement spécialisé, optimisé pour l’évaluation de performance des systèmes complexes (GreatSPN) et un environnement interactif de calcul numérique (Scilab). Nous montrons comment l’utilisateur peut tirer profit des possibilités de chacun de ces outils. Notre logiciel permet le calcul de plusieurs indices de performance actuellement non disponibles sous GreatSPN.
